So I recently was reflecting on how I might have been percieved as an angry black woman and how exactly we got there.

First this was a meeting with some high ranking officials, I knew I was at a disadvantage-I can read the room.

I am trying to get my advantage back and stand my ground, unbudging. But where you start from determines where you end up and starting from a firm tone means you dont have much room to go higher and I did.

Anyway, it was a self protection mechanism when I did it, What would life be like if I didn’t have to protect myself…time to imagine so I can drop it.
